Dr. Mohammad Hayem Zin Alabdin is a German board-certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon in abu dhabi with over 25 years of combined experience in Syria, Sweden, Germany, and the UAE.
He graduated from Damascus University, Syria, in 1998, then pursued a 3-year postgraduate specialization in oral surgery at the University Hospital of Cologne's Department of Oral & Maxillofacial and Plastic Surgery, Germany. In 2008, he achieved board certification in Oral Surgery and earned a Diploma in Implantology from the University Hospital of Cologne.
Dr. Mohammad has undertaken advanced training to enhance his surgical expertise, including courses in Reconstructive Head & Neck Surgery with SORG Academy (Iceland), Osseodensification (Turkey), TMJ Surgery - Arthroscopy (Sweden), and the AO CMF Orthognathic Surgery course (Germany), among others.
Before joining Harmony, Dr. Mohammad ran his own private practice in Syria and Sweden. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of oral & jaw problems and TMJ diseases, wisdom teeth extractions, dental implants and alveolar surgeries, orthognathic surgery, laser therapy for gingivitis and periimplantitis, and palate, lip & alveolar cleft management.
He holds active memberships in the Swedish Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Association, the Swedish Private Dentistry Association, the Swedish Dental Association, the European Association of Dental Implantologists, and the Syrian Society for Research and Preventive Dentistry.
He speaks Arabic, English, Swedish, and German.
