Metal and Ceramic Braces
Metal braces
Metal braces are traditional dental braces used for straightening teeth by using archwires. These braces are made from sturdy stainless steel, which is highly corrosion-resistant.
Advantages of Metal Braces
Durable
Reliable correction of all types of teeth
Customize the look with different band colours
Less expensive
Ceramic Braces
A clear alternative to metal braces is Ceramic braces, but they use clear or tooth-colored brackets rather than gray or metallic silver brackets and wires. Many people opt for ceramic because they’re less noticeable on their teeth than metal braces.
Advantages of Ceramic Braces
Aesthetic and Cosmetic Appeal
Matches with natural teeth
Comfortable
Clear brackets and wires are resilient and durable
Ceramic brackets are resistant to staining and discoloration
Ceramic braces deliver a gentle yet consistent force to straighten your teeth.
Invisalign
Most people want to improve their smile but think that traditional metal braces are the only option.
With Invisalign clear braces, you can have straight and beautiful teeth in a series of custom-made clear braces that cover your teeth and gently pull them into the proper position over time.
How does it work?
Using X-rays and state-of-art technology such as 3 Shape 3D scanning, our specialist orthodontists examine your teeth and customize a digital treatment plan for you. The treatment plan determines how your teeth need to shift and how long it will take to align them correctly. The x-rays, 3D scans, and pictures of your teeth are sent to the Invisalign laboratory where your customized aligners are crafted.
How long does Invisalign treatment take?
The patient will get every few weeks a series of Invisalign that he wears each set for 20 to 22 hours a day. And the treatment plan usually takes 12 to 18 months to straighten your teeth. For more complex cases, the treatment could be completed in 24 months or a little bit longer.
Retainers
If you want to maintain your straight smile, a retainer should be worn after finishing your braces treatment. Wearing a retainer is important as the treatment itself.
It is a custom-made device you wear to help you keep your teeth in their new, correct position after braces.
Types of Retainers
Essics Retainers
Hawley Retainers
Lingual Retainer
Expanders
An orthodontic expander is an appliance that we use to widen your child’s jaw and palate, allowing room for his adult teeth to grow normally or to correct jaw misalignment. Our specialist orthodontists customize the expander to fit your child’s natural palate.
When Is an Orthodontic Expander Needed?
Our orthodontists might suggest an expander treatment if your child has severe crowding, a crossbite, or impacted teeth that look as if they’ll worsen as your child develops.
Space Maintainers
Sometimes a child may lose a tooth before their adult teeth are ready to grow. To prevent serious problems in the long term, our specialist orthodontists in Harmony Medical Group can place devices called space maintainers in your child’s mouth making sure the proper teeth grow.
Habit Breakers
At Harmony Medical Group, we offer support to help children break their bad habits. Some bad oral habits can lead us to dental alignment problems later in life, like tongue thrusting or thumb sucking. These habits can be solved by a variety of oral appliances to ensure good growth for the jaw bone. These habit-breaking appliances can be removable or fixed and our orthodontists give specific treatment for your child’s case.
Microscopic Root Canal Treatment
Root Canal re-treatment
Teeth with previous endodontic treatment can last as long as natural teeth, but sometimes, a tooth that has received a previous treatment may not heal or get infected and cause pain. In that case, a retreatment procedure should proceed to save the teeth from extraction.
At Harmony Medical Group, we utilize state-of-the-art 3D microscope for root canal retreatment. During retreatment, our specialist endodontist re-opens the tooth and removes the existing filling materials placed before, then examines the tooth under microscopic illumination to remove the infection to heal the tooth.
Re-treatment for removal of Broken instrument procedures
Instrument fracture during root canal treatment is an unwanted and frustrating complication, but sometimes it happens and it can lead to serious problems and carries the risk of treatment failure and it might even lead to tooth loss.
The common approach for dealing with a broken instrument is its removal. At Harmony Medical Group, our specialist endodontists provide the removal of the broken file from inside a root canal using the ZUMAX 3D Microscope.
Complicated Root Canal treatment
Our specialist endodontists in Harmony Medical Group, are the most outstanding leader in the region of microscopic endodontics. They are well-trained and have expertise in providing complicated root canal treatments using state-of-the-art 3D dental microscope to get the optimal results for our patients, making sure to treat even the most complicated cases in the most comfortable and painless way.
Root Canal Treatment
Root canal therapy, known as endodontic treatment, involves removing infected pulp from the inside of the tooth to prevent the spreading of the infection and save the tooth from extraction.

Using laughing gas sedation to reduce anxiety during dental treatment
Are your Kids Afraid of Dentists?
We are here to give them a Safe, Effective and Enjoyable Experience!
Some children can get anxious about dental treatments, and going to the dentist can be stressful for them. That’s why we provide, at Harmony Medical group, various options of sedation dentistry for children, which can make the entire experience more comfortable for your child.
One of the most common, safest, and reliable options for sedation in pediatric dentistry is nitrous oxide, known as laughing gas.
Does Nitrous Oxide Help with Anxiety?
Yes! and it’s a safe and effective alternative that helps our little patients to relax during dental treatments. This type of sedation involves breathing/inhalation of laughing gas through a mask they wear over the nose.
