Dr. Salam Alhaj Hussin is a highly experienced Specialist Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, with 35 years of practice spanning Syria, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.
She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Dental Medicine (DDS) from Damascus University in 1987, followed by a Master’s Degree in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in 1994 through the Ministry of Health in Syria. She pursued further education, obtaining a Higher Diploma in Public Health & Oral Hygiene from the Syrian MOH’s School of Public Health in collaboration with the WHO in 1996. In 2019, she achieved the Syrian Board in Maxillofacial Surgery, solidifying her expertise in the field.
Dr. Salam is committed to staying at the forefront of her specialty through continuous training and certifications. In 2007, she obtained certification for the Dental Implant System from Bern University in Switzerland. Three years later, she completed the American Academy of Implant Dentistry’s MaxiCourse, offered through AHS-SEHA Dental Clinic and Abu Dhabi University in the UAE. She was awarded membership in the Canadian Association of Medical Spas & Aesthetic Surgeons in 2014.
She is an expert in all types of dental implant placements, oral surgeries, and complex maxillofacial procedures, providing advanced care tailored to each patient’s needs. Her extensive experience includes treating facial trauma, correcting jaw misalignments, performing reconstructive surgeries, and managing oral diseases.
